    Residents living in Tavola will attend the on-site Tavola Elementary School, Keefer Crossing Middle School, and New Caney High School. All are serviced by the New Caney Independent School District.   

    Located 30 miles northeast of Houston New Caney ISD is one of the fastest-growing districts in Houston. They serve residents living in parts of Porter, New Caney, Kingwood and Conroe which covers more than 90 miles. Altogether there are nine elementary schools, four middle schools, two high schools, one early college high school, and an alternative education. New Caney ISD launched the vision initiative equalizing access to technology for all students. All grades have access to laptops either by cart, classroom sets or directly issued. All but one elementary campus offers dual-language classes in English and Spanish. They are currently constructing a UIL regulation aquatics center, permanent early college campus, and a third high school. In 2014 New Caney Independent School District added the Texan Drive Stadium which can seat 8,500 people and a $20 Million investment.
